McKenzie took my daughter Leah’s senior pictures. We loved them all! McKenzie was extremely easy and helpful to work with when setting up our appointment, and ordering prints, enlargements, books, and announcements. She was also willing to work with our ideas and was flexible and patient with all my daughter’s outfit changes and different places she wanted to take photos. I know photo sessions can be stressful, but we had a blast with McKenzie! I would highly recommend Photography by Kenzie!

Working with McKenzie was incredible from beginning to end! She photographed our wedding day and we couldn't have been happier with all aspects of the process. She helped us organize our day, was extremely patient and really cared to get to know us. I decided on a whim to have pictures taken at our family cabin in Northern MN when I heard a photographer would be in the area (we live in NYC). We couldn't have been more pleased or fortunate to find McKenzie. The pictures she took of our girls are priceless keepsakes of their wondrous ages. McKenzie immediately connected with both girls (not an easy task at ages 4 & 6) and had them feeling comfortable within seconds. She captured each of their personalities amazingly throughout the series of photos. I usually hope for one or two good pictures in a photo session, but with McKenzie I have amazing shot after amazing shot. We ooh'ed and ahh'ed over each and everyone. We will cherish these photos for years to come. McKenzie also impressed me with her professionalism throughout the process. I booked Photography by Kenzie for a female first cousin's reunion (23 guests) at Buffalo Ridge Resort in Gary, SD without ever meeting McKenzie in person. Speaking to her via telephone and reviewing her website, I knew I'd chosen a dependable, customer-friendly professional. From the hiring to the photo distributions every interaction and every conversation was spot-on perfect. The morning of the photo shoot, it was raining and she decisively chose an indoor location that was ideal for the group and then took sub-group photos and another group photo quickly outdoors during an intermission from the showers.My greatest concern was herding all of these women in a timely manner but that worry was immediately put to rest. McKenzie is in charge without being pushy. She's artistic without being quirky and she's professional without being non-approachable.As a former Certified Bridal Consultant and owner of an events company in Charleston, SC, I have had the privilege of working with dozens of outstanding photographers and I'd consider McKenzie in this group. McKenzie took our family pictures earlier this year. From the moment I contacted her to set up an appointment till the time we received our order she was upbeat and professional. When rain threatened our picture day she reassured me that we would get them taken. We did and they turned out great! She was wonderful with my two boys and kept them entertained during our session. I went to high school with McKenzie in Canby and when I found out I was expecting I looked up her website and asked if she would take maternity pictures for me. My daughter Angela's senior pictures are beautiful. McKenzie was easy to work with and we had alot of fun. We really made the right choice choosing McKenzie.

Our first session with McKenzie was with our dog, Ranger. McKenzie was very patient as we chased around our puppy and tried to get him to cooperate with us to take photos.
We loved how those photos turned out so we hired her to do our wedding five months later. She was so helpful in getting all the different types of shots we wanted and working with the wedding party and our families to get everyone in the pictures. It was a cold and long day but she stuck with it and gave us great photos! A few minutes before the ceremony she even drove us out in the country to get silhouette shots in the sun set – turned out to be some of our FAVORITES!

Being a photographer is so much more then just snapping pictures. Kenzie takes the time to get it "just right". Whether it be a session of just one of our kids or our entire family it has been an amazing experience. She captures our personalities every time! I think the hardest person to get to cooperate is our toddler, but she manages to make it fun and gets the smiles. We get so many oohs and aahs at our pictures and I send them right to her. She is easy and fun to work with! An added bonus are her prices! She is so reasonable and could easily charge a lot more! The hardest part of working with her is choosing which of her amazing photographs you will order! She will continue to be our family's photographer!

My husband and I highly recommend using Photography by Kenzie for all your photography needs. We had her photograph our engagement and wedding and had so many wonderful pictures, it's hard to choose a favorite. She's great with people of all ages and amazingly talented at what she does. McKenzie took my son, Brock's senior pictures. McKenzie was very accommodating and willing to listen to suggestions. She did a great job looking for different types of poses and making if fun for Brock. There were a couple times we had to reschedule and she was willing to do it in the evenings or whenever it worked for us. There was even a time where the pictures were not correct and she stood behind them. Very impressed with her professionalism. She was very friendly and outgoing. We also had our family pictures done by McKenzie and were very pleased with her knowledge of photography. We received many compliments on Brock's senior pictures and our family pictures.
